It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Memphis. The prettiest site to see may actually be the holly on your own front door. But if your outdoor lighting isn’t working properly you may not be able to see it at all.
Our outdoor lighting is designed to be rugged and weather the elements gracefully, but small adjustments may need to be made, especially this time of year. Make sure fallen leaves haven’t accumulated in your well lights. They can distort the lighting and can trap heat from escaping. Our optional lens covers are a perfect solution to keeping debris out of the lights and are quick and easy to install.
Also, be sure lighting fixtures haven’t been knocked or bumped. Although our fixtures are sturdy and installed securely in the ground, kids, dogs, wildlife or even storms can move your fixtures without you noticing much of a difference. Since we are the lighting experts, we know where to shine the light to give your home or landscaping the best illumination. You may not have even noticed the movement but when it is repositioned, you will clearly see a difference.
Check your bulbs to be sure they have not burnt out. You may not have noticed a bulb out in the summer, when darkness didn’t come until much later. Now that daylight savings time has ended, it is more noticeable when a replacement is needed.
These three small adjustments can make a big difference in the way your outdoor lighting looks. We’d be happy to spruce up your lighting for the holidays. We’ll change any bulbs that have burnt out, clean out your well lights, install lens covers if you wish, and reposition any fixtures that may have turned. You’ll see a difference in the way your home looks and will even be able to see that holly on your own front door.
